Canadian Women Golfers Inc. (CWGI) is a golf club for Ottawa area women. We encourage women to take up the game of golf and to play more of it in a welcoming and friendly environment. We understand that when women play golf their experiences should be tailored to their unique needs and perspectives.
CWGI's golf program is geared to the lives of today's women. We know that some weeks you just can't play golf and that you need a pay-as-you-play approach. We offer an extensive and varied program, just like a traditional golf club. Instead of having our own course, we organize 9 & 18-hole golf games and golf related events at a variety of the nicest courses in the region conveniently located close to where members work and live. And, best of all, we make it easy and organize the games for you. Whether you're just starting out in the game or a seasoned player you'll enjoy golfing with CWGI. Golfing with CWGI is also flexible and fun. As a member you can play at any of our club courses at a time that works for you and you'll have lots of fun playing with other women. Members always have someone to golf with and have the opportunity to:
CWGI is the most affordable golf club in the area. Your membership fee covers the privileges and benefits of being in a club but not your green fees, which you only pay for the games you play. With CWGI you will expand friendships and have the opportunity to network with other women from across the region. We value giving back to our community by supporting charitable causes for needy women and children.
